Cleaning Sks How Do I Clean A Chinese SKS Gas Piston And Cylinder.?

How do I clean a Chinese SKS gas piston and cylinder.? - cleaning sks

Can someone tell me how should I clean my gas cylinders and pistons. After I finished cleaning can prevent bone dry or lubricated prior to installation.

Very carefully!

Be very careful not to scratch or warp to the cylinder in any way. It is a sure way to lose a point and in perfect condition ...

But in general, run a few patches of passage BreakFree as the cleaning of the barrel, then leave a very light coating on the piston. Also, be sure to clean the port .....

I have a Yugo SKS, and compares the Chinese version of the same thing.

An old toothbrush and Hoppe No. 9 Powder Solvent work very well. A nylon or brass brush size was sufficient (do not remember from the hand) and a bit of work as No. 9 and the interior.

Consider storing fat, but not of Photography: Burn is the lubricant and the setting is not usually crowded anyway). If you really feel the urge to think of a dry lubricant such as graphite.

According to the books, the piston and the cylinder must be completely dry. To collect even a thin layer of carbon oil and malfunctions in the room. I use a .45 caliber nylon brush to the cylinder and standard I Hoppes # 9 to clean the piston clean. The flask must be completely dry before reassembling.
